This year's Annual Convention is drawing a great deal of attention and our room blocks have sold out in record time. We have opened a third room block at the LaQuinta Inn & Suites across the street.

The San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter will be the site of the ASLRRA's Annual Convention events. It is conveniently located on the River Walk and connected to the Rivercenter Mall. Additional room blocks have been set up at two hotels adjacent to the Marriott Rivercenter, the Marriott Riverwalk and the LaQuinta Inn at the Convention Center. Both overflow hotels are directly across the street from the Marriott Rivercenter.
The LaQuinta Inn at the Convention Center is conveniently located across the street from the Marriott Rivercenter. The hotel offers spacious rooms with pillow-top mattresses, coffee makers, iron & ironing board, free high speed internet access and a complimentary continental breakfast. Our room rate here is $159 per night, plus tax.
LaQuinta Inn uses a different reservation system for group rate rooms and you need to call a special number and it is only manned at certain hours. You cannot make these reservations by calling hotel directly or by calling their 800 reservations number.

Mention that you want Location No. 0501 (LaQuinta Inn at Convention Center) and it’s under ASLRRA. Our room block includes Sat, Sun, Mon. and Tues night rooms.

Note: Because we have already well exceeded any amount of rooms ever used at an ASLRRA Annual Convention, we were uncertain how many more rooms we will need. Our room block at the LaQuinta is not very large but if we see the demand, we will work with the hotel to try to increase it.
Things happen. Sometimes someone books more rooms than they need or plans change and they have to cancel their room reservations. Any Marriott rooms cancelled before the March 31 hotel room cut-off date will revert back to the ASLRRA’s room block. If you are persistent enough and call back, you might actually luck out and manage to hit the jackpot and grab a room that someone just cancelled. It’s the luck of the draw. And, if you are one of those folks that has a room reservation that you don’t need, PLEASE CANCEL IT BEFORE THE CUT-OFF DATE SO ANOTHER MEMBER CAN USE IT.
ROOM RESERVATIONS - MARRIOTT RIVERCENTER AND RIVERWALK
Room blocks at the Marriott properties are both sold out. The room rate at both hotels is $189 single or double occupancy, plus 16.75% sales tax. Make your reservations by calling the hotel at 800-648-4462 and mention Group Code AS2 or ASL and let them know that you are with ASLRRA to try to get our discounted group rate. Room availability is spotty and more likely if you are not staying Tuesday night. Hotel room cut-off date is March 31.
