An important goal of the ASLRRA Annual Convention is to provide a variety of opportunities for attendees to network and come together to share a memorable experience. For folks arriving on Saturday, we’re planning a fun evening reception. Join your fellow short line and regional railroad and supplier members as we celebrate Cinco de Mayo on San Antonio’s River Walk. Four short line executives will tempt you with samples of their chili, all while you enjoy the company of friends and business acquaintances at this unique networking opportunity. And once you are done sampling, cast your vote on who should be honored as the Association Top Chef! In addition to the chili sampling, we’ll enjoy a reception menu along with refreshments. Our location on the River Walk will allow you to continue the evening with dinner at one of the many neighboring establishments, to go shopping, or to just call it an evening and head back to the hotel after the reception concludes. This event has been developed with you in mind. We'll bring together railroad executives, great food, and superb spirits in a competitive and fun-natured way that truly connects great ideas and great people!
Mark off the Top Chef Chili Cook-off outing on the online registration and pick up your tickets at the ASLRRA Registration Desk on Saturday. We’ll meet in the hotel lobby and walk over to the River Walk restaurant en masse at 5:30pm.
