Ladies, if you like shopping, a little wine tasting, a light lunch followed by chocolate, have we got the tour for you!! We created this custom tour because it just screamed fabulousity and fun! You'll depart the hotel at 9:00am for the ride to Winter Park, FL and Park Avenue. Since 1887, Park Avenue has welcomed winter-weary visitors under its canopy of century old oaks and quaint brick streets. Also known as "Little Europe", downtown Winter Park's charm is magnified in the truly unique details: hidden gardens and side streets that are home to unique stores and shops. Following a couple of hours of shopping and browsing the exclusive boutiques and art galleries of Winter Park and their one-of-a-kind treasures, you will head to the Wine Room on Park Avenue to taste the wines of the world. Sample delicious cheese selections and pair them with your own selection of wines in 1oz - 3oz. pours from The Wine Room's state of the art Enomatic dispensing system. Try up to 150 wines and get cozy in the setting of leather sofas and armchairs. Once you have chosen a wine you love, take it home to share with friends. Each guest will be provided a $20 card to use for tasting. Taste a little or a lot, depending on your palate and your budget!
After the wine tasting, you will enjoy a light lunch at the wine room before departing for the last stop on the tour: Farris & Fosters Famous Chocolate Factory. The chocolate party will begin when they take you back into their chocolate factory and you become a chocolatier. You will each have the opportunity to create your own chocolate delights. Use a kettle to pour melted chocolate into one of over 1000 different shape molds, learn to use liquid color and decorate one of your chocolate creations, dip strawberries or other fresh fruits and make delicious chocolate cups of your favorite treats. You will leave with a pound of homemade chocolates and other goodies before returning to the hotel by 4:00pm.
