Orlando has evolved from a relatively quiet southern farming community into an international vacation destination. An incredible array of recreational activities, shopping and dining experiences, and world-class accommodations await those who visit, and it's all set right in the middle of the natural beauty of Central Florida.
ASLRRA is conducting its 97th Annual Convention this year in the Sunshine State-Florida. We'll be at an amazing resort that has two hotels, the Hilton Bonnet Creek and the Waldorf Astoria, the first newly built Waldorf since the legendary original in New York City. They are both adjoined to the convention center where our Convention and Trade Show will take place. That's why we offer both hotels this year.
We looked at this proposed property two years ago when it was in the planning stage. The concept was marvelous then and it has grown out of a wetland to be a spectacular hotel/ resort/convention complex. The resort is in a prime location in the heart of 482 acres of mature woodlands and natural waterways, surrounded on three sides by Disney and conveniently located a stone's throw from other theme parks such as Universal Studios, Sea World, the water parks and the many other Orlando attractions. In itself it is a self-contained tropical paradise with lots to offer... a Reese Jones-designed championship golf course, swimming in a freeform lagoon-style pool with a lazy river that snakes through the subtropical landscaping, eleven spectacular restaurants and bars, a first class European-style spa, and other great amenities and activities.
This is Hilton at its very best and is a triumph of contemporary design with superb amenities and outstanding meeting facilities. The Waldorf needs no further explanation as its name speaks for its excellence. The ASLRRA rate for the Hilton is $189 and we have a special $199 rate for the Waldorf Astoria Hotel for a limited amount of rooms. These rates are single and double occupancy. There is not a resort fee at this property so the only additional fees will be taxes and parking. Whether you stay at the Hilton or the Waldorf you get to use all of the facilities and amenities AND charging privileges at BOTH properties. There will also be a complimentary shuttle to the Disney Parks for you to enjoy! Check out the Lodging page for more hotel information.
