Our iInteraction activities don't get much better than this. This year we have an opportunity to connect on a team-building service project at the Warrior and Family Support Center (WFSC) at Fort Sam Houston. The WFSC provides coordinated services to military personnel recuperating from suffered in the war on terrorism. ASLRRA's service project will entail working in the therapy garden, helping to weed and plant and maintain the facility. You will be inspired and renewed - working together for a great cause and in turn, the families will continue to enjoy the services provided by the Warrior and Family Support Center in the Returning Heroes Home facility. That night our Party with a Purpose Networking Reception will benefit the WFSC and continue the theme of giving back to those in need.
As in past years, we will hold a spouse tour designed to give all attendees a true taste of regional flavor. The motor coach tour will provide opportunities to experience Southwest art and cooking, as well as unique shopping opportunities. Our golf outing will take place at the Pecan and Republic golf clubs, providing plenty of space for all who wish to enjoy world-class golfing while engaging in valuable networking opportunities.
The ASLRRA Annual Convention will reach a high point with our closing banquet, at which all non-safety-based awards will be presented. The Loco Lizard Lounge and Dessert Reception, hosted by next year's Annual Convention home region, the Eastern Region, will then provide an appropriate end to a schedule of solid interaction events.
