On the social side of the equation, we have ample opportunities for you to come together and network at this year's meeting.  Sunday evening, we'll kick things off with an opening reception, complete with a bourbon tasting, where you can meet new friends and renew old acquaintances.  Monday evening, we're off to the races as our reception will be held at the Kentucky Derby Museum where you can actually try your luck at a virtual run for the roses.  We'll close out the meeting with a fun-filled afternoon of golf on Tuesday at Fuzzy Zoeller's Covered Bridge Golf Course.  In between there are breakfasts, lunch, and refreshment breaks with time set aside for networking.

You also have Board Elections to conduct at this meeting with one seat that is being voted on and there is a Small Railroad Sandhouse Session on Sunday afternoon where you can share best practices, blow your own horn, dish the dirt, learn new tactics for working with your Class Is...  you name it.  The floor is yours.  Same thing with the Sandhouse Sessions on Monday afternoon.  You set the topics for that session as well.

You've told us that these regional meetings are important to you.  Please don't let this opportunity slip away.  Make your room reservation today.  The online registration will open soon.  This meeting is open to all ASLRRA members.  You do not need to be a Southern Region Railroad member in order to attend.  All regions are welcome and encouraged to participate!
