ASLRRA SERVICE PROJECT EVENT We will be working with the Flatirons Habitat for Humanity this year. The group will be working on rehabbing a home which sustained water damage in the Broomfield area. We'll start out the morning on Saturday, August 20, bright and early as we board the bus at 7:30am. We can accommodate up to 12 volunteers. We hope that you'll join us and participate in this program and help us to leave the Denver area a little better than we found it, while networking and getting to know your fellow ASLRRA members better. Later that evening, we'll hold a small thank you reception for the service project participants. No prior construction experience is required. We will meet in the hotel lobby and our bus will depart the hotel at 7:30am and return by 4:30pm. A fee of $30 is requested to help defray the cost of lunch, water, and transportation to and from the worksites. Your clothes will get dirty, so we plan to provide t-shirts to all participants. Volunteers should wear long pants and sturdy, closed-toe and closed-heel footwear. Please plan to participate in this important project. So we can give Habitat a number of attendees, please sign up by August 10. Fee: $30 per person |
