What to Wear

Attire will be business casual for all events. Keep in mind that hotel meeting rooms are notoriously cool, so bring a jacket or sweater.

Men
- Khaki slacks or chinos, oxford shirts, collared golf shirt, sport coat or blazer, sweaters and vests, ties optional, no blue jeans. 

Ladies - More latitude in outfits with the addition of pants and sweaters, pant suits, skirts and cardigans, lower heels and brighter colors, no blue jeans.


Travel and Transportation

Airport Information

Baltimore Washington Int'l (BWI) is the closest and most convenient airport to fly into.  The airport is served by all major airlines including, but not limited to Air Canada, AirTran, America West, American, Continental, Delta, Fronteir, Midwest, Northwest, Southwest, Ted, United, and US Airways.  The airport is 12 miles ($30 one way taxi fare) from the hotel.

You may also fly into one of the two Washington, DC area airports:

Reagan National Airport (DCA) which is 45 miles ($75 one way taxi fare) from the hotel, or

Dulles International Airport (IAD ) which is 52 miles ($100 one way taxi fare) from the hotel.

Amtrak

Amtrak's Baltimore Penn Station is approximately one mile from the hotel.  The station is a stop on the Cardinal/Hoosier State, Acela Express, Crescent, Carolinian/Piedmont, Silver Service/Palmetto, and Vermonter Routes.  Check the Amtrak website for schedules and fares.

Ground Transportation

Super Shuttle 1-800-BLUE VAN (258-3826) provides shuttle service to and from the airport and the fare is $13 per person, one way.  Visit their website for more details, including reservations.

Parking

Onsite self-parking is available at the hotel for $26 per day.  Valet parking is available for $36 per day.  Both parking options provide in and out privileges.

Weather

The Baltimore climate is quite enjoyable and September can have late afternoon showers. Days are pleasantly warm reaching into the low-80s and evening temps in the mid-60s.
