Colonial Williamsburg is a living history museum and our hotel is located within walking distance of many of the sights and activities, so we have opted to not hold a separate spouse tour this year.

In addition to the historic venues, there is nearby shopping at Merchants Square, a collection of more than 40 unique shops and restaurants, and Williamsburg Marketplace where hotel guests, as an added benefit, can have their purchases delivered right to their hotel rooms. Off property, there are several Outlet Malls: www.williamsburgoutletmall.com and www.primeoutlets.com/cntrdefault.asp?cntrid=1045 as well as the Williamsburg Pottery.

The Williamsburg Resort also includes the Williamsburg Spa which was just named by Conde Nast as one of only nine spas in the U.S. selected for their “2008 Hot List.”

Spouses are encouraged to register and attend the evening social activities and the spouse breakfasts.  We will arrange to have someone at the Monday morning breakfast to give the registered spouses the ‘lowdown’ on how to make the most of your Williamsburg experience.
