Connections.  Perhaps no other word describes what the short line industry is about.  It is what we do, how we work, how our suppliers do business with us, and it is the name of the annual gathering where we all meet to network and make those connections.  The ASLRRA Annual Convention is the premier educational event in our industry, with an exhibition with over 195 booth spaces, social events and service projects that allow you to connect with your fellow railroaders and friends, and a location that only enhances the grandeur of the meeting.  Your planning committee has worked hard to mesh all of the above together in Indianapolis, and we believe that this year's meeting will continue to build on the Connections that you have already made, and will help you create new ones.
