WHAT TO WEAR
Attire will be business casual for all events. Keep in mind that hotel meeting rooms are notoriously cool, so be sure to bring a light jacket or sweater to keep warm.

Men – Khaki slacks or chinos, oxford shirts, collared golf shirt, sport coat or blazer, sweaters and vests, ties optional, no blue jeans.

Ladies – More latitude in cut with the addition of pants and sweaters, pant suits, skirts and cardigans, lower heels and brighter colors, no blue jeans.
TRAVEL AND TRANSPORTATION
Airline Service
Portland International Airport is located nine miles (20 minutes) from our hotel and the airport is served by Alaska, American, Big Sky, Continental, Delta, Frontier, Hawaiian, Horizon, JetBlue, Northwest, Southwest, United, and US Airways.
Amtrak Service
Portland Union Station is one mile from our hotel and it is served by three scheduled Amtrak intercity passenger trains.
With three daily departures between Seattle and Portland, as well as daily service to Vancouver, BC, the Amtrak Cascades is a convenient link to the Pacific Northwest and British Columbia. The City of Portland has teamed up with Amtrak and is offering a 15% discount off of fares on Amtrak’s Cascades Line. Visit http://www.amtrakcascades.com/ and enter code H715 to obtain the discount.
Amtrak's Coast Starlight operates daily, connecting the West Coast's most popular destination cities, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland and Seattle.
Amtrak's Empire Builder takes you on an exciting adventure through majestic wilderness, following the steps of Lewis and Clark. The train travels between Portland and Chicago.

Ground Transportation
The hotel is nine miles (20 minutes) from the airport.
Portland’s MAX Light Rail System provides an economical way to arrive at the Hilton for only $2.00 each way. Just catch the MAX Red Line Train at Portland Int’l Airport at the stop located near baggage claim. Take MAX to the Pioneer Square stop, which is 1½ blocks from the hotel. Then go South (up hill) on 6th Avenue past Yamhill St. to Taylor St. then turn left onto Taylor. The Hilton Executive Tower is on the corner of Taylor and 6th on the left hand side. The trip is approximately 43 minutes door to door.
Blue Star Airporter provides a shuttle from the airport and the one way fare is $14. Upon arrival at the airport, step outside from baggage claim, cross two lanes of traffic, and walk to the left to the Info Booth and request the Blue Star Airport Shuttle.
Taxis are available outside at baggage claim and the cab fare will be approximately $25 one way.
WEATHER
Average high temperature in September is in the mid- to upper-70s with a low in the mid-50's. Lucky for us, September is one of the months with the least precipitation.
