WHAT TO WEAR

 

Attire will be business casual for all events.  Keep in mind that hotel meeting rooms are notoriously cool, so be sure to bring a light jacket or sweater to keep warm.  Also, with so many of our events taking place on or near the water, it is advisable to bring a jacket with you to the Sunday and Monday events as well.

 

Business Casual Dress Definitions

Men – Khaki slacks or chinos, oxford shirts, collared golf shirt, sport coat or blazer, sweaters and vests, ties optional, no blue jeans.

 

Ladies – More latitude in cut with the addition of pants and sweaters, pant suits, skirts and cardigans, lower heels and brighter colors, no blue jeans.

 

 

TRAVEL AND TRANSPORTATION

 

Airline Service

Burlington International Airport is located four miles (10 minutes) from our hotel and the airport is served by Continental, Delta, JetBlue, Northwest, United, and US Airways. See Ground Transportation below for info on the hotel’s complimentary shuttle service.

 

Amtrak Service

The closest Amtrak station to Burlington is in Essex Junction, VT.  It is on the Vermonter line which runs daily between Washington, DC and St. Albans.  The Essex Junction station is approximately 8 miles (14 minutes) from our hotel.

Ground Transportation

The hotel is four miles (10 minutes) from the airport.  The hotel has a complimentary airport shuttle which runs between 6:00am and 10:00pm.  Pick up the courtesy phone by baggage claim and the hotel will send someone to pick you up.

 

Taxis are available outside at baggage claim and the cab fare will be approximately $13 one way.

 

Parking

Self parking with in and out privileges is $5.50.  The parking facility is a city parking garage that is adjacent to the hotel.  The hotel does not have valet parking.

 

Weather

Average high temperature in September is in the mid- to upper-60’s with a low in the upper-40’s.  With so many of our events taking place on or near the water, a jacket is highly advisable.
