The Association of American Railroads has now scheduled gateway performance improvement meetings for the first half of 2010.
For the first half of the year, meetings will be held at and for the following gateways on the following dates: Chicago, IL, at the Chicago Transportation Coordination Office, on March 22 and 23; Memphis, TN on April 20; New Orleans, LA on April 22; Birmingham, AL on April 27; Vancouver, BC, Canada on May 18; Minneapolis, MN on May 20; Kansas City, MO on June 15; St. Louis, MO on June 17; Detroit, MI on June 22; and Buffalo, NY on June 24.
The AAR has in the past encouraged short line and regional railroads operating in these gateways, or that have service issues related to traffic flowing through these gateways, to attend and participate at these meetings.
