General Code of Operating Rules (GCOR) Training

ASLRRA has partnered with the Iowa Northern Railway to provide this Comprehensive General Code of Operating Rules (GCOR) Training Seminar at Iowa Northern’s training facility in Waterloo, IA. The Eighth edition will be released prior to the class. The three-day training seminar is intended for railroads who have adopted the GCOR as their operating rules with an emphasis on the revised rules and the transition guide. This training may be used to meet operating rules training as required by 49 CFR Part 240, 242 and 214 Subpart C.  Attendees must bring their Eighth edition GCOR for reference.

Registration:
$395 for ASLRRA Members; $795 for Non-Members
Space is limited to 30 participants and registration includes three days of training, an online assessment with a Certificate of Completion, as well as daily lunch & refreshment breaks. 

Hotel and Shuttle:
A block of rooms has been set aside at the recently built Holiday Inn & Suites at 7400 Hudson Road in Cedar Falls, IA. The hotel will provide shuttle service to and from Waterloo Airport as well as to local dining. Please use this link to book a room at the negotiated rate.

Training will take place Tuesday – Thursday (8:00 am – 5:00 pm) at Iowa Northern Railway’s Training Center located at 201 Tower Park Drive, Suite 300, in Waterloo, Iowa. We recommend travel on Monday and Friday. An evening flight on Thursday could also work. 

Travel:
Waterloo, IA is served by the Waterloo Regional airport (ALO) and is within an hour’s drive of the Eastern Iowa airport in Cedar Rapids (CID).  

Cancellation Policy:
