Making the Digital Shift to Safety Culture

Making the Digital Shift to Safety Culture
From Safety Compliance to Safety Culture - How Short Line and Regional Railroads can Make the Digital Shift:  Building a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with industry safety standards is critical for railroads. Like many industries, railroads tend to look at safety initiatives as a compliance checklist, to meet requirements for drug and alcohol or GCOR operational testing. However, when safety initiatives are executed at a bare minimum, strictly for compliance purposes, the railroad is prone to mishaps and accidents arising from negligence or judgment errors. In this webinar, CloudMoyo’s Ashok Madhavan will outline the need for a cultural shift in railroads to adopt a safety-first approach and show how the railroad industry can leverage technology to build a strong safety culture. This can lead to greater visibility into safety initiatives, employee empowerment, higher enforcement of safety standards, and continuous learning (all of which are critical to building a culture of safety), and also support modernization initiatives across various operations in an enterprise. Attendees will have an opportunity to participate in Q&A at the end of the presentation.
