Participation in ASLRRA’s meetings and events means that you, and any additional attendee registered by you, agree to abide by ASLRRA’s Code of Conduct.
ASLRRA is committed to fostering a welcoming environment at ASLRRA-sponsored events to ensure that all attendees can participate in a safe environment free from harassment. Harassment can take many forms, and may be, but is not limited to: words, signs, jokes, pranks, intimidation, physical contact, unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, stalking, other verbal or physical contact of a sexual nature, vulgar or abusive language, or violence and may be based on race, sex, gender, pregnancy, sexual orientation, national origin, religion, age, disability, or any other classification protected by local, state or federal law. Harassment has no place in a professional environment and will not be tolerated at any ASLRRA event. If a person engages in such conduct, appropriate action(s) will be taken, including, removal from the meeting without refund, possible restriction from future events, or other actions as may be deemed appropriate.
ASLRRA expects all employees, attendees, media, speakers, volunteers, organizers, venue staff, guests, and exhibitors at ASLRRA-organized events to help us ensure a safe and positive environment. Individuals who witness or experience inappropriate conduct should report such conduct to the ASLRRA General Counsel or ASLRRA President. Reports may be submitted in person or in writing. Any person submitting a complaint must be acting in good faith and have reasonable ground for believing the information disclosed indicates a violation of this Code of Conduct. ASLRRA will promptly investigate all reports of harassment. The investigation may include interviews with the parties who are directly involved and possibly with others. Confidentiality will be maintained to the fullest extent possible, consistent with a thorough investigation.
