DSLE and Railroad Operating Rules (Part 217) Training Seminar

Join railroad industry colleagues for this popular two-day training seminar led by subject matter experts from ASLRRA and the Iowa Northern Railway (IANR). The Designated Supervisor of Locomotive Engineer (DSLE) and Operating Rules (Part 217) training seminar is intended to provide railroad managers with training on a complex designation that they address daily, which address required Part 243 reoccurring DSLE training. Attendees will receive training on DSLE responsibilities, including application and administration of 49 CFR Part 240 and Part 242 similarities and differences, and Part 217 railroad operating rules. Attendees will have an opportunity to participate in daily interactive discussions with peers and regulatory experts; they will complete an online assessment and receive a certificate of completion following the seminar.

Registration includes two full days of training, 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m., at the Hilton Garden Inn Nashville/Vanderbilt with daily lunch & refreshment breaks provided in the meeting area; daily breakfast is provided in hotel dining area.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations made 30 or more days before training will receive a full refund; no refunds will be given if cancellation is made within the 30-day window.

A block of rooms has been set aside and training will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn Nashville/Vanderbilt at 1715 Broadway in Nashville, Tennessee.
