The ASLRRA-PAC is a voluntary, nonpartisan political action committee. Its purpose is to support candidates running for federal offices who share and further our industry’s policy goals, and who support our members and the communities where we do business, work, and live. The ASLRRA-PAC has been in existence for over 40 years.
Participation in the ASLRRA-PAC is generally limited to individuals affiliated with ASLRRA member firms, including stockholders, executive and administrative personnel, and spouses of both. The category of executive and administrative personnel includes employees who are paid on a salary, rather than on an hourly, basis and who have policymaking, managerial, professional, or supervisory responsibilities. Collectively these are referred to as the "restricted class."
Per Federal Election Commission regulations, businesses may prior authorize one trade association of which they are a member to solicit their restricted class in each calendar year. Prior authorization is the provision of written permission by the firm for the PAC to solicit specific members of the restricted class at their organization. In most cases, prior authorization is carried out by an officer of the firm.
If you fall into the identified categories above, you may go directly to the PAC website to see if you are on the list for your company by navigating to www.aslrrapac.org and entering your email. When you enter your email, it will be checked against our prior authorization list. If you are on the list, you’ll be taken right to the site where you can learn more about the PAC and access the contribution page.
If your name isn’t yet on your firm’s list, or your firm itself has not prior authorized anyone, you’ll instead be taken to the prior authorization login page that will ask for a password. If this occurs, simply reach out to us at ASLRRA-PAC@aslrra.org We’ll help you through the process to get you or your company added. You may also directly contact:
