Drug and Alcohol (Part 219) Training Seminar and Short Line DER Roundtable

Join railroad industry colleagues for this comprehensive three-day event, starting with a two-day training seminar led by FRA and ASLRRA subject matter experts and covering 49 CFR Part 219 Drug and Alcohol Training. Presented by FRA Drug and Alcohol Program Specialists, Sam Noe and Melissa Van Dermeir, the training seminar will offer an in-depth review of Part 219, covering all sections of the rule and requirements for railroads and contractors. Attendees will engage in interactive discussion of rule requirements and practices and all questions will be answered by subject matter experts.

Day three of the event will be a Short Line DER Roundtable featuring presentations and discussions specifically designed for short line railroad Designated Employee Representatives (DERs). Additional details coming soon.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations made 30 or more days before training will receive a full refund; no refunds will be given if cancellation is made within the 30-day window.

A block of rooms has been set aside and training will be held at the Embassy Suites by Hilton New Orleans, 315 Julia Street, New Orleans, LA.
