Company Overview
HDR, Inc. is one of the leading providers of planning, engineering, environmental, real estate, economic, and financial services to the North American Freight Rail sector. We believe that the way we work can add meaning and value to the world. That ideas inspire positive change. That coloring outside the lines can illuminate fresh perspectives. And that small details yield important realizations. Above all, we believe that collaboration is the best way forward. Our railroad professionals guide you through the challenges that lie ahead. We employ many former railroad employees who have hands-on knowledge of operations and maintenance and who understand industry standards, engineering requirements and industry challenges.
Capability Statement
HDR has supported over 50 projects in successful requests for federal grant programs, such as TIGER, FASTLANE, and INFRA grants. Together these projects have received over $1.5 billion in federal funds for building key transportation projects. Our experts can help complete a grant application in its entirety, provide guidance on the application, or prepare the required benefit-cost or cost-effectiveness analysis. We also assist clients with the management of the contract award process, including the management of the grant in compliance with the appropriate federal regulations, and monitoring and tracking of the various grant requirements.
